Lore:Eigenlicht

Eigenlicht is the only large, permanent populated city in the Obsidian Pit. Built directly below Muzhav Ulam, it acts as an equipment station, goods port, and border control for traversal to and from the Kepirian tunnels. Permanently bathed in light, Eigenlicht is fuelled by pockets of natural gas found deep within the shafts below. While it sits within Kepir, it is considered part of Malkuti Eretz territory.

The Lamplighters' Guild

One of the most important guilds in Eigenlicht, the Lamplighters control the supply and public usage of the natural gases that fuel the city. It is by their hand that the light-fearing denizens of Kepir are kept at bay and the Eigenlichters can go about their lives.
